A computered plugin will not replace human mind, won’t replace logic. When coding CSS it’s important to think about usability, it’s important to think ahead: What if you will have more text here, what this box will be bigger.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a big project (where coding is very important) or just a simple presentation website. It matters ?
Flexibile ?
Take a look at the above coding style. Many will ask their website to be SEO friendly on-page, therefor you will text-indent h1 ? Or just make a div with width and height, background image and that’s it ?
That’s why it’s important to have a handcoding website. You have graphic style, you design a website in a certain way, (or not). The coding part is the same. I code in a different way, my way.
I think ahead, I take SEO in mind, usability, semantic, etc. I optimize the images, I’ll arrange the XHTML and CSS in a certain way, in a way that it can be easily maintainable even for CSS beginners.
When designing a good website, take coding seriously.
